With an increase in participation from last year’s event, a total of 24 scientific papers were presented with representation across Ottawa (OHRI, TOH, CHEO, Carleton University, and uOttawa). Papers presented were from a variety of disciplines (Physics, Health Sciences, Medicine, and Engineering). The meeting guest speaker, Dr. Cari Whyne (Sunnybrook Research Institute) gave a talk on “New Paradigms in Fracture Healing”. The variety of research presented made for a productive day of discussion and connection among the attendees.
